Webinar: “Regulatory Challenges for Lending Institutions in 2025 and 2026” – Join Us on 24 April 2025

The lending institutions market in Poland is subject to constant regulatory changes. On 24 April 2025, during a free-access webinar titled: “Regulatory Challenges for Lending Institutions in 2025 and 2026”, attorney-at-law Anna Jędrasiak will summarise the key challenges arising from the changing legal framework for lending institutions for the years 2025 and 2026, including the implementation of the CCDII Directive (Directive (EU) 2023/2225 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 October 2023 on consumer credit agreements).

Anna Jędrasiak will discuss selected provisions of the draft Consumer Credit Act and the draft amendment to the Consumer Rights Act, both of which implement the CCDII Directive. During the webinar, she will focus on the following regulatory areas:

  • information to be provided in advertising;
  • obligations of lenders, including pre-contractual obligations;
  • creditworthiness assessment;
  • new procedures for licensing lenders and supervision over their activities.

Registration is available on the event website.

This webinar is intended for a broad audience with an interest in the lending market and the upcoming regulatory developments. In particular, we invite representatives of lending institutions, compliance department staff, entities operating in connection with the lending market, including financial institutions and companies providing technology solutions for the lending sector (lending platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools, and others).
