On 19 February 2025, our personal data protection specialist – attorney-at-law Anna Jędrasiak – will lead an open-access webinar titled: “Designation, Status and Tasks of the Data Protection Officer (DPO)”. During the webinar, she will discuss the most important aspects related to the institution of the Data Protection Officer (DPO). We start at 10:00 AM.

Personal data protection is the foundation of security in today’s world.

A key role in this process is played by the Data Protection Officer, an expert responsible for the correct application of GDPR provisions and for protecting personal data of both clients and employees.

During the webinar, Anna Jędrasiak will explain, among other things:

• who may serve as a DPO;
• how to position the DPO within the structures of the Data Controller;
• what the DPO should and should not do according to the current position of the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO);
• how to avoid the most common mistakes related to the DPO role.
