Anna Jędrasiak to Speak at Workshop on Credit Risk

On 25 September 2025, attorney-at-law Anna Jędrasiak will deliver a training session titled “Fraud, KYC and Prevention in Credit Risk – How to Prevent Abuses and Protect Customer Identity?” as part of the second day of the online workshop “Credit Risk Management in Light of Emerging Challenges and Regulations.”

During her session, Anna Jędrasiak will address issues related to identity theft and discuss how to effectively protect both financial institutions and their clients from such risks. She will also focus on identity verification in digital environments and the role of the Know Your Customer (KYC) process in credit risk assessment. Furthermore, she will present selected cases involving identity fraud and share practical insights on building effective detection and prevention mechanisms.

The workshop “Credit Risk Management in Light of Emerging Challenges and Regulations” is a key industry event focused on the current issues in credit risk assessment. Over two days, participants will gain up-to-date knowledge on assessing creditworthiness in the context of the CCD II Directive and the proposed AI Act. Experts will explore the use of artificial intelligence in credit processes, examining the opportunities, risks, and regulatory challenges. A crucial topic will be the integration of ESG risk into credit policies, as well as an analysis of legal and regulatory threats related to the Free Credit Sanction (SKD).

The workshop will also cover current activities of the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) concerning credit scoring in BIK, and present best practices in managing non-performing exposures in banks. Overall, the event offers a comprehensive response to regulatory changes in the financial sector and an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences and systematise their knowledge on credit risk management.

The workshop is intended for representatives of financial institutions – in particular banks, lending institutions, and other credit providers. It will be especially valuable for directors, managers, and professionals responsible for legal affairs, credit risk, compliance, restructuring, product development, customer service, capital adequacy, internal audit, controlling, and supervision. The event will also be of interest to all professionals facing daily challenges related to credit risk and regulatory changes in the financial sector.

Event details and registration are available on the organiser’s website – MMC Polska.
We invite you to attend.
