{"id":1979,"date":"2025-08-19T10:21:57","date_gmt":"2025-08-19T08:21:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kancelariamacura.pl\/?post_type=experience&#038;p=1979"},"modified":"2025-09-09T15:08:32","modified_gmt":"2025-09-09T13:08:32","slug":"casp-license-3","status":"publish","type":"experience","link":"https:\/\/www.kancelariamacura.pl\/en\/experience\/casp-license-3\/","title":{"rendered":"CASP license"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A&nbsp;Lithuania-licensed virtual-asset service provider, retained the firm to prepare its off-ramp and on-ramp business lines for the forthcoming application of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) to asset-referenced and e-money tokens.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The engagement began with a&nbsp;comprehensive gap analysis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>we examined the company\u2019s current issuance, custody and exchange flows against MICA and against supervisory guidance published by ESMA and the Bank of Lithuania. Building on that analysis;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>we designed an implementation roadmap that realigns the client\u2019s token classifications, marketing practices with the new regime.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deliverables included revised internal policies and detailed briefing memoranda for compliance, risk and product teams. All work product was produced in English to match the group\u2019s operating language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a&nbsp;part of the project we advised the client on the optimal licensing path under Lithuanian law, including eligibility under existing VASP (Virtual Asset Service Provider) rules and future alignment with MiCA for CASPs.
