Cryptoassets and tokens

A Lithuania-licensed virtual-asset service provider, retained the firm to prepare its off-ramp and on-ramp business lines for the forthcoming application of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) to asset-referenced and e-money tokens.

We provide ongoing legal services to an entity listed in the register of providers of services in the scope virtual currency. The entity runs a service and mobile app, providing a cryptocurrency wallet enabling the purchase (on – ramp) and sale (off- ramp) of virtual currencies.

The firm provides legal services on a regular basis in all areas of functioning the client. Currently, among others, we are advising on the implementation of a business project for the issuance of tokens that are electronic money (e-money token), according to the business and technical concept prepared by the Ccient. The issuance is to be carried out by the only electronic money institution in Poland in cooperation with our client, who will act as its agent.
